Japan supports Trostianets community: the result of effective international partnership

The Trostyanets community has received modern inverter generators from Kashihara (Japan), an important step in strengthening the resilience of local infrastructure. The equipment will be transferred to socially important community facilities to ensure reliable power supply in emergency situations.

🤝 This initiative is the result of inter-municipal cooperation launched thanks to the active participation of the Mayors’ Club Ukraine and the Japan PPP/PFI Association. It was our partnership that laid the groundwork for a dialogue between Trostyanets and Kashihara and helped to establish long-term relationships.

📦 The delivery of the humanitarian aid was made possible by the coordinated efforts of many parties: municipalities, diplomatic missions, expert organizations and volunteers. We are especially grateful to the Kashihara City Hall and personally to Mayor Tadahiko Kameda for their leadership, trust and openness to cooperation.

For Trostyanets, this assistance is not only a technical reinforcement, but also a powerful symbol of international solidarity, mutual support and shared belief in the recovery of Ukraine.

The Mayors’ Club Ukraine would like to express its sincere gratitude to Japan PPP/PFI Association, the partners who have become the catalyst for this cooperation. Their professionalism, strategic vision and hard work have been key to the realization of this initiative. It is thanks to such alliances that we open up new opportunities for development and international integration for Ukrainian communities.
