Kyiv Region Communities Forum: A Strategic Platform for Reconstruction and Investment Partnership

📍 On April 30, 2025, the Kyiv Region Communities Forum took place — a key regional event that brought together representatives of municipalities, businesses, and international partners to discuss strategies for recovery, local economic development, and digital transformation of territories.

The Mayors’ Club of Ukraine took an active part in the forum. Yuliya Chufistova, Member of the Presidium of the Mayors’ Club, and Henry Shterenberg, CEO of Economy of Trust Ukraine Inc. and Strategic Partner of the Mayors’ Club, joined the event as part of their joint mission to enhance the institutional capacity of communities and attract direct foreign investment.

🔹 During the investment panel, Henri Sterenberg presented a vision for Ukraine’s digital reconstruction within the framework of UkraineVerse — an AI- and metaverse-based platform that enables communities to present their projects to international investors in line with unified legal, financial, and technical standards.

His presentation highlighted several practical solutions:

• Creation of digital twins of municipalities for planning and showcasing infrastructure projects;
  
• Implementation of anti-corruption certification for municipalities;
  
• Formation of economic alliances and departments of commerce as tools to support local development;
  
• Preparation of a project pipeline that meets the standards of international financial institutions.
  

The Mayors’ Club, which encouraged Kyiv region communities to take part in the event through its monthly newsletter, will continue to support initiatives aimed at sustainable local development, digital governance, and the integration of Ukrainian communities into the global economy.
