The Delegation of the Mayors’ Club attended ECOMONDO 2023

ECOMONDO is a benchmark international event in Europe and the Mediterranean region. It is an international exhibition specializing in innovative technologies, services, and industrial solutions in the field of the green economy and circular economy. The name “Ecomondo” symbolizes the fusion of ecology and the world, placing a strong emphasis on environmental solutions and sustainable development.

The event is held annually at the prestigious Rimini Fiera Exhibition Centre in Rimini, Italy. It is organized and hosted by the Italian Exhibition Group – IEG.

Ecomondo showcases a wide range of topics, including water resource management, textiles, bioenergy, soil management and protection, transportation, waste disposal, sustainable agriculture, and urban development. Exhibitors at the fair present a multitude of products and services, addressing complex environmental challenges and offering innovative solutions. Within the context of Rimini and Italy as a whole, the fair emphasizes the growing importance of environmental awareness and green innovation. Some of the key highlights of Ecomondo include the Innovation District and Startup Zone, both of which are specifically dedicated to ecological innovations in Italy and around the world.
Exhibitors represent various sectors, including water management, waste disposal, agriculture, textiles, and transportation. The fair primarily attracts professionals and decision-makers from these and related industries, as well as representatives of construction companies, associations, institutions, and the media.
The Mayors’ Club delegation, consisting of First Vice President Oleksandr Mazurchak, Vice President and Mayor of Trostianets Yuriy Bova, Mayor of Skalat, and Deputy Mayor of Vyshneve, had the opportunity to attend the full event and present their projects at a stand prepared by our Italian partners, HOPE Ukraine. They also had the chance to meet and speak with the Minister of the Environment of Italy, the President of Ecomondo, the Mayor of Rimini, and the Head of the laboratory that will study soil and water in Ukraine.
